Gasoline Blow Torch

Blow torches are the greatest inventions of all times but there are certain models that have failure modes and defects and the functional one is the gasoline blow torch .Plus if after cleaning a gasoline torch the drip tray is improperly mounted on the torch you may have problems with your blow torch. The drip tray doesn't protect the incidental drip of gasoline and if you want to clean your gasoline blow torch always remember to reassemble them in the proper way otherwise they will not work as efficiently.

If the gasoline blow torch is not assembled in the proper way you may have problems with them because at times the reassembling fault occurs and the tank of the head of one burner is assembled with another manufactures burner head. Plus some people just forge to turn the hook of the burner in the right direction.

Another great problem that occurs with the gasoline blowtorch is that it plugs up. And the main reasons that this happens are:

The gasoline blow torch work best when white gasoline is used. And if we use leaded fuel then a black residue is left behind in the fuel passages at the head of the burner of the torch.

Plus the white gas doesn't produce bad odor whereas the leaded fuel smells unpleasant and can leave the carbon residue which clogs the passage and the blow torch doesn't work effectively.

Another reason that a gasoline blow torch plugs up is if the wick deteriorates and at times it rots and you have to use a drill to remove the wick from the burner head of the Gasoline blowtorch. The wicks also get clogged because of the carbon residue .While some folks also use the gasoline blow torches to dispense insecticides and the chemicals in the insecticide stick to the fiber of the wick and this leads s to a rotten wick.

If a gasoline blowtorch is unused for many years the orifice of the valve gets enlarged and this case the flame to turn yellow instead of the normal blue color.

The plump plunger is oiled regularly as it is made of earner so that it can pressurize the tank. As the leather dries out you can use oil to lubricate plus the hardware of the pump plunger also gets rusty and these parts need to be replaced so that you gasoline blow torch works properly.
